DR. STEVEN HENDERSON

Dr. Henderson performed his undergrad study at the University of Alaska Anchorage and went on to become a doctor of chiropractic medicine through the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He received his doctor of chiropractic degree in the fall of 1988. Skilled in many techniques of chiropractic Dr. Henderson has mastered the skill in the Thompson technique and manipulation of the extremities.  While studying at Palmer Chiropractic College he taught Thompson technique to other students there. As a member of the American Chiropractic Association and Alaska Chiropractic Society he continues to further his education in the chiropractic field. Part of his course studies and interests have taken him to be a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) through Western States Chiropractic College of Oregon and study whiplash injuries through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego by Dr. Arthur C. Croft Ph.D., D.C., M.Sc., M.P.H., F.A.C.O. Introduced to chiropractic medicine in the early 80s as a patient, Dr. Henderson understands the experience of pain and discomfort and prides himself on the proficient care he provides. He loves what he does and where he lives. Dr. Henderson is a lifelong Alaskan. He’s been married to his wife Susan for 35 years and they have 6 wonderful children and 5 grand children.
